The ISLAND Project Seminars - Launceston

The ISLAND project team would like to invite you to attend our upcoming Launceston seminar. This seminar will be hosted by an expert panel of ISLAND researchers.

  • Dr Hannah Fair will provide the latest updates from the ISLAND project, as well as an update on her own research regarding how we can better share dementia risk knowledge.
  • Prof Anna King will present work being undertaken through the ISLAND project to develop brain biomarkers through a blood test. This work is made possible through the biennial blood samples we collect from participants.
  • Dr Duncan Sinclair will provide an update on the Resilience Study, which many participants are involved in as a sub-study of the ISLAND project.

Come along to learn more about our research, chat to other ISLAND participants and meet some of our team. Along with the presenters, we will have Amanda Irving from Dementia Australia on the panel to help answer some of your questions about dementia.
