The ISLAND Project, St Lukes Health, Diabetes Tasmania, Dementia Australia, U3A, COTA, Quit Tasmania, and many others will be onsite to connect residents to local services and activities supporting their health and well-being.

In addition to our exhibitors, we will have hearing tests available on the day as well as the opportunity for attendees to engage with our researchers about ISLAND and some of the research activities we have underway, relating to the ISLAND project or brain health in general. Come along and see how we are trying to use virtual reality to help people with dementia navigate and understand the importance, and fun, of learning new things.

The Hobart expo will bring together several organisations and services in the one location so people can easily find out what is available in the community. Whether you need support due to a dementia diagnosis, want to find out more about how to reduce your risk of dementia and other health issues or want to see what services and activities are happening in and around Hobart to keep people healthy, active and well, then this free expo is just for you.

The Dementia, Prevention and Well-being expo will be officially opened by Professor James Vickers.

Come along to our free expo, bring your friends, and take the time to engage with the exhibitors to discover how you can enhance your health and well-being. We look forward to seeing you there.
